TRUNKS THE HYPNOTIC SURVIVES CANCER

Trunks enjoys an electric relaxation for a change.

We are very thankful and blessed to inform you that
Sean Taylor (a.k.a. Trunks the Hypnotic) is currently doing well and recovering from cancer.
As you know, Trunks was diagnosed with testicular cancer last summer in 2005.  After weeks of enduring chemotherapy treatment, he received his last round of chemotherapy on August 14th.  He was able to skip his fourth round of chemo, because the tumors in his body had been eliminated from the previous three rounds.
On September 18th, Trunks had surgery to remove tumors in his stomach and under his lung.  During this time, a message from Trunks stated:  "The surgery was the worst part.... very painful.  My lung collapsed during the eight-hour surgery, but everything was taken care of and right now I'm in remission."
Which brings us to today, in which Trunks is doing much better and able to continue his normal life.  Trunks would like to deeply thank all his family, friends, and fans who have shown love and support through phone calls, hospital visits, letters, e-mails, or any other means.  They will never be forgotten.
To all those who are currently going through personal and difficult times (or know someone else who is), always try to be there for each other as much as possible.  Faith, family, and friends can help us get through the toughest times.

WHO IS DAILY BRED?

After a temporary hiatus as well as fan demand for a new album, former Basement emcees Trunks the Hypnotic, Haft, and producer Markis Precise have come back together to form Daily Bred, a new group with a new focus.  With their anticipated upcoming album half-way complete, Daily Bred promises to deliver another solid outing on behalf of quality hip-hop.  Guests features already include Tableek (of Maspyke) (be sure to cop the new album "Static" released on ABB Records) and Oakland native emcee Ise Lyfe (Def Jam Poetry guest, West Coast Slam Poetry champion, also check him out on the new Zion I album).
After years of personal obstacles and hardships, Daily Bred is ready to give hip-hop listeners an LP filled with insightful lyrics and soulful beats that anyone can relate to.  So to those who continue to send e-mails asking about upcoming music, be on the lookout for the new group Daily Bred which will answer all your questions.  We will keep you posted with more Daily Bred updates.

2006 PLANS

2006 has marked a year of new beginnings and personal goals for us.  Trunks is healthier and better, and the Daily Bred project continues to roll along smoothly in the studio.  We are very grateful to all of you who continue to support us whether in person or online, and we promise to deliver properly this year.
